We have invested heavily in the development of young people and their determination to achieve has been great to witness.
None more so than Lauren Robison who, after a year of studying, has successfully completed her Level 2 diploma in business admin.
Lauren studied a series of units throughout the year-long course and consistently excelled in her learning including top marks in employee rights and responsibility.
Lauren said: “The progression path at Activ has proved invaluable to me. I was able to complete my studies via Northern Skills Group which really benefited my learning within my day-to-day role.
“I studied everything from collating and reporting data through to storing and retrieving data and I am really pleased with the end result, being appointed as a full time internal account manager.
“The team at Activ is very supportive particularly account managers, Marie Lunt and Emma Gillespie, who have taken me under their wing.
“I have learnt a lot by observing them and assessing the way in which they work and have picked up some great tips. The confidence that I have built is as a result of working closely with them.
“To be guaranteed a job and a good progression path at the end of my training was an incentive to really push myself.
“I am really enjoying getting more involved with the accounts and even have some of my own now. It is an exciting challenge to step out from behind the scenes and really build on my relationship with customers.
“In the future I would like to continue my learning as I enjoy my journey with the team at Activ.”
