Developing a strong work-place culture and showcasing our support for a number of North-East based initiatives, including sponsorship of Newcastle Falcons, has boosted our status as a workplace of choice.
We very much look to support organisations which mirror our own values – teamwork, dedication and loyalty.
So, as a company which places strong emphasis on its work place initiatives, this also extends to our commitment to being socially responsible.
We take our care to the environment and health and safety very seriously and in order to commit to environmental protection and pollution prevention, all colleagues are actively encouraged to keep a clean and tidy workspace, conserve energy where practical, report any leaks or spillages and always look to switch off electrical equipment when not in use.
We have assigned team leaders to look after health and safety and they are HR manager, Lynne Gillespie and finance director, Michael Hearns.
Our ISO accreditation is reviewed every six months to ensure we adhere to current regulations by operations manager, Claire Kennedy.
We have dedicated team leaders who oversee all first aid procedures and they include business technical administrator, Daniel Wallace and internal account manager, Emma Gillespie.
Regular training takes place and should an incident in the workplace arise Emma and Daniel are the first point of contact.
We all work hard and we strive to achieve a good balance, so creating a workplace environment with a strong socially responsible feel to it, is a priority.
