South Shields Community School needed to refresh their fleet of mobile handsets for their teaching staff and were initially eager to receive a quote for the latest iPhone.
“Activ provided us with the costings to supply the iPhone 6s to our staff as we requested, but when Lindsey visited us she listened to our requirements and came to understand exactly how our staff would use the mobiles. She then provided us with a quote for the Microsoft Lumia 640s which would save the school money and possibly provide a better solution by integrating seamlessly with the Microsoft applications we already use. Following Lindsey’s advice we chose to go with the Lumia phones.
The network provider which was quoted was O2, and as a school this was a network we had no previous experience of and we knew individuals who had issues with personal phones on O2. Lindsey went above and beyond to address our concerns; supplying us with a demo phone and spending 30 minutes walking around the school to check the coverage in all areas.
During the order processing the top class service didn’t end. Lindsey hand delivered the mobiles to us when she was supposed to be on holiday, and the porting of our old numbers couldn’t have gone smoother – with Peter from the customer care team continually checking in with us and providing updates.
When we were setting up our new phones, we noticed that chargers hadn’t been supplied, after querying this we discovered that this was a new policy from O2 but Activ kindly supplied us with chargers themselves free of charge.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Activ to other schools and businesses as their service has been first class from the first minute to the last.”
