ROX – Diamonds & Thrills is a British jeweller specialising in diamonds and luxury watches.
It prides itself on creating a truly memorable shopping experience. ROX was born to bring with it a determination to inject excitement, drama and, above all, luxury into the world of jewellery.
Through a relationship established between engineer and technical consultant at Activ Technology, Michael Quinn and the directors at ROX, Activ was awarded the contract to oversee all IT for the retailer and support its staff in December 2018.
Activ provides IT support to all ROX branches – Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Leeds.
Regular contact between Michael and the team ensures all IT activity is carefully monitored and the team at Activ regularly visit the stores to assess if customer needs have changed or to recommend beneficial changes. Activ recently upgraded two of its servers to Windows 2016 offering a robust new solution with cluster-support built-in. This allows the company to monitor services and live migration can take place without affecting the business.
