Service Offering: IT Support
Includem is a third sector organisation providing intensive, bespoke support to young people and families in challenging circumstances.
Its model of support is based upon solid, trust-based relationships. Through this approach, Includem is able to help young people make positive life choices and progress towards the type of future they want to live.
Includem has an eight year relationship with Michael Quinn, technical consultant at Activ Technology.
Solution and service offering
Includem was at the start of its technology journey when it invested in Michael to help assist with the enhancement of its IT infrastructure. This included integrating its broadband and updating all software and hardware when moving into new premises.
Throughout the journey, Michael has offered hands-on support and helped to update the IT system whilst establishing a successful working relationship with Includem’s systems administrator, Kerry Ann Inglis. Michael works alongside Kerry Ann to help implement all major strategic changes and refreshes across Includem’s five branches in Scotland.
As a result of the proactive nature of the account and Includem’s involvement with the Coalition of Care and Support Providers in Scotland (CCPS), Michael was recommended to C-Change Scotland, a third sector organisation which was looking for IT support.
C-Change was founded in 2001, providing outcome-focused, personalised support for people with learning disabilities and mental health issues. Activ remains at the forefront of activity with IT support provided to C-Change.
Activ Technology also handles Includem’s hosted telephony package, which is assessed and reviewed by internal account managers on a monthly basis.
Recommendations are then made to the team should they feel any benefits would apply to the package.
The team at Activ Technology offer Includem an integrated service, reducing time and pressure by providing extensive in-house support. Michael and the team regularly attend Includem’s offices for meetings, as a commitment to strong communications and client servicing.
