“A bespoke mobile package that was far more cost-effective and flexible for the client and which was fully supported by a dedicated internal account manager.”
About Newcastle Falcons
The rugby union team is in the English Premiership and was established in 1877. It played as Gosforth Football Club until 1990, when it changed to Newcastle Gosforth and moved to Kingston Park, Newcastle. At the start of the professional era the club adopted its current name, Newcastle Falcons. It is currently the only professional rugby club in the North East.
Newcastle Falcons was in a mobile contract but the package that was not meeting its needs and billing costs were very high. Activ was challenged to come up with a far more attractive package.
Activ produced a bespoke mobile package that was far more cost-effective and flexible for the client and which was fully supported by dedicated internal account manager, Emma Gillespie.
Activ also has a long-standing relationship with Gary Cairns at Newcastle Falcons that is based on performance and mutual respect.
As well as supplying a mobile contract, Activ provides the club’s gas, water and landlines. By offering an integrated service, Activ removes time pressure and reduces costs for its client.
Gary Cairns, Finance Director at Newcastle Falcons, said: “I know the team at Activ very well and they always provide a service that is bespoke and flexible. We know our account manager will always be available to offer advice on any problems or issues that we may have, reacting swiftly to resolve.”
